Recitation verified by voice
Read aloud and the app listens, marking each word as you recite it. No manual “I read it” button.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Read the Quran aloud and your progress is tracked automatically. Complete the Quran together with your reading group, one steady daily assignment at a time.

BerQuran is a free Quran app for Android and iOS that verifies your Quran recitation directly from your voice. As you read aloud, the app automatically matches your recitation against the mushaf text and marks the words, verses, and pages you have read. Your khatam progress (completing the full Quran) is recorded on its own, with nothing to mark by hand.
BerQuran is also built for Quran reading groups: a group can complete the Quran together by splitting daily reading assignments among its members, then see who read which part on the group’s Khatam Map.

Read aloud and the app listens, marking each word as you recite it. No manual “I read it” button.

The verses and pages you read are saved on their own, along with your daily progress stats.

Start or join a reading group, split daily reading assignments, and follow the group’s khatam progress together.

Consistent reading is rewarded with levels, badges, and group leaderboards.

A group coordinator can split the 30 juz into daily reading assignments for each member. Every member reads their part aloud, and the group completes the Quran together while watching a color-coded Khatam Map per member: who read which part.
Yes. BerQuran is free to download and use on Google Play and the App Store.
BerQuran uses forced alignment: it matches the sound of your recitation against the mushaf text and marks the words it hears. There is no manual “mark as read” button.
Not by default. BerQuran verifies which parts you have read by voice; it does not grade them. There is, however, an optional Tartil Mode you can turn on for each task: words whose tajweed rules you applied correctly turn gold, missed ones turn red, and you get a report of which rules need work. Tartil Mode is free, off by default, and never affects the record of pages you have read. It is a practice aid between lessons, not a replacement for talaqqi (learning directly from a teacher).
A reading group is a circle of readers who complete the Quran together. A reading assignment is the share of pages the coordinator hands each member every day, so the whole group can finish all 30 juz together.
After signing in, open the Groups section in the app and join an available reading group, or follow an invitation from a coordinator. From then on you will receive a daily reading assignment from the group.
The Khatam Map is a color-coded view showing which parts of the Quran each member has read, so the coordinator and members can follow the group’s khatam progress together.
Yes. Recitation is currently verified on our server, so you need an internet connection while reading aloud.
BerQuran is available for Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store).
